Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a hospital-based clinic setting requiring ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification with 2 years of experience or 3 total travel assignments
Details
- Rochester Clinic CT Body department within Radiology
- Multiple shift options available: 6:30 AM-5 PM Mon-Fri with Wed off, or 7 AM-3:30 PM Mon-Fri
- 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts, 5 days per week
- 13 or 26 week assignment lengths available depending on position
- Extended 26-week training period available for Alpha/Cardiac scanner experience
- Cardiac experience preferred for one position with extended Alpha/Cardiac training
- On-call requirements including pager response for days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends
- Uses Epic for charting
- On-site position with no teleworking option
- Must maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a related field required
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program required
- ARRT Radiography (R) certification required
- ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Active license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required, or 3 total travel assignments
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills required
- Ability to work independently required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
Additional Information
- Produces high quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards
- Requires competence with a variety of imaging equipment and technology
- Practices safety guidelines for self, support personnel, and patients
- Fosters teamwork through effective communication
- COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
- Returning travelers may stay on assignment up to one year from initial start date before requiring a break before a new assignment
