Requirements:
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
- Valid Virginia state license or ability to obtain licensure
- Current BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and therapeutic exercises
- Clean professional license with no current or prior disciplinary actions
- Completion of comprehensive background checks and health screenings
