Physical Therapist Inpatient position in Anchorage, Alaska. The role involves providing therapeutic services in an inpatient acute care environment with a rotating schedule that includes weekends. The shift consists of days, 10 hours per shift, on a 13-week assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, rotating schedule to include weekends.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license, basic life support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient acute care settings.
- Additional Information: The position requires weekend work, including Saturdays and Sundays. The unit includes 175 beds with a team of 60 therapy providers, including PTs, occupational therapists (OT), speech-language pathologists (SLPs), physical therapist assistants (PTAs), and certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs). The EMR system used is EPIC. The environment is inpatient acute care with a typical patient ratio of 8-10 patients daily.
