Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (INTRA CL) technologist position in Wausau, Wisconsin. This role involves supporting a fast-paced Interventional Radiology (IR) unit with a variety of complex procedures. The position offers rotating shifts, on-call responsibilities, and requires flexibility to float to other locations within the central region. The assignment begins on 08/17/2026 and is scheduled for 13 weeks.

- Schedule: Variable shifts & days. Earliest shift 0645, 0700, 0730, 0800; flexibility required.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS certification, Wisconsin license; minimum of 2 years' experience in Interventional Catheterization Procedures, Interventional Vascular Procedures, or Interventional Neurology; Associate Degree or Certificate; experience in high-quality radiologic exams, interventional medical sonography, cone beam computed tomography, and complex procedures; Epic charting experience highly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex interventional procedures and advanced imaging techniques.
- Float: Float to other locations in the central region if needed.
- On Call/Call Back Requirements: Variable weekday and weekend call rotations, 1-2 nights of weeknight call as needed; response time of 30 minutes; call back minimum two hours; call back hours will count toward unbillable low census hours.
- Holiday Rotation: Holidays required as needed.
- Additional Information: The IR unit is fast-paced, with an average of 4-6 procedures per day, staffed by a team of 1 RN and 2 Rad Techs. Scrubs can be any color. GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation. Travelers may be scheduled on call for low census hours. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per policy.
