Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Location unspecified). Job Details
- Position Description: The Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist Level (CIT) provides foundational knowledge in radiologic technology and imaging, assisting during neurovascular, vascular angiographic, cardiovascular, and electrophysiologic procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with preparing balloons, deploying stents, and deploying valves, as well as setting modality parameters on angiography equipment. Enters patient data into imaging systems, archives images, and maintains procedural areas and equipment.
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 180 days; Certified Radiologic Technologist Radiography, Rad Tech Fluoroscopy within 90 days; minimum of 1 year of experience in the specialty area.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Familiarity with ancillary equipment such as Ekos, Angio Jet, FFR, Volcano, Rotablator, IABP, Impella, U/S, IVUS, and Cathworks used in services. Proficiency in sterile technique and documentation in EPIC and inventory systems is required. The role is focused primarily on cath lab procedures with urgent staffing needs.
