Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist in Mesa, Arizona. This position involves performing prescribed specialized radiographic procedures in accordance with department policies, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. The role supports both diagnostic and interventional procedures, with a focus on safety, quality, and professional conduct.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program; certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; state licensure if applicable; BLS certification; clinical knowledge with 2 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Performs specialized radiographic procedures, educates patients and families, produces high-quality images, maintains documentation, and ensures equipment quality control. Demonstrates competence in invasive/interventional procedures, radiopharmaceutical administration, and radiation safety. Maintains compliance with policies, procedures, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. May oversee support staff and students.
