Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) position is located in Gainesville, Florida. This role involves working in a specialized lab that services congenital patients across all ages, from neonates to adults. The position requires proficiency in interventional cardiology procedures, including PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention), Impella, and IABP (Intra-aortic Balloon Pump), with experience in managing heart failure patients. The technologist will rotate through day shifts, with overnight and weekend call coverage, on a 13-week contract basis.
Job Details:
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, variable with call coverage overnight and weekends, scheduled for 40 hours per week.
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Travel Required: Yes
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) at the time of submission, minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular Technology or Cath Lab, previous travel experience, proof of Florida state license if ARRT certified, at least 1 reference dated within the past 12 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Peripheral experience and familiarity with structural procedures such as Watchman are preferred.
- Additional Information: Must have a facility type, electronic medical record (EMR) system, and bed count completed in the application. No work history gaps over 30 days without explanation are accepted. No RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment. RTO submissions are limited to a maximum of 8 days for this 13-week contract.
