Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week Days assignment requiring 1+ years of experience and a National/OK state OT license.
Details
- Hospital-based Occupational Therapy department setting
- Focus on Swing Bed patients with minimal outpatient caseload
- Patient ratio of 1:1, seeing 6-10 patients per day
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 13-week assignment
- No call requirements
- No floating requirements
- Cerner EMR used
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license required, National/OK state license required if applicable
- Minimum 1+ years of recent experience required
- Geriatric or swing bed experience preferred
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Facilitate development and rehabilitation of physically disabled patients to maximize functional status
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs
- Participate in discharge planning and performance improvement initiatives
- Perform administrative duties and pursue ongoing professional growth
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- RTO blackout dates apply from 6/1/26 to 6/12/26
- Does not accept local candidates within 50-mile radius
- Not eligible for candidates who worked as perm staff at this facility or health system within the past 2 years
