Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment at a premier pediatric healthcare facility in Boston, Massachusetts. Position Details
  • Location: Boston, MA
  • Start Date: September 7, 2026
  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks
  • Schedule: Varied, Rotating, and Overnight Shifts
  • 36 Hours Per Week
  • Schedule may include:
    • 3x12-Hour Shifts
    • 4x10-Hour Shifts
  • Weekend Availability Required

Compensation
  • Travel Pay Package: Up to $3,473/Week
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and emergency CT imaging procedures
  • Review imaging requisitions and ensure exam appropriateness
  • Obtain and verify patient information using two patient identifiers
  • Perform IV placement as required
  • Maintain high standards of image quality and patient safety
  • Assist with X-Ray procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Accurately document procedures and patient information
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of Pediatric CT experience required
  • Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License required
  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) required
  • BLS Certification required
  • Strong acute care or hospital-based imaging experience preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced pediatric environment preferred

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician.  These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics.  The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
  • Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
  • A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
