Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist position in Bismarck, North Dakota. This role involves assisting radiologists during procedures, managing room coordination, and performing post-procedure film processing with charting and billing. The position requires providing care in an acute care setting with a focus on interventional radiology and additional support in imaging departments.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour days, with the possibility of finishing cases if started late. Call required approximately 10 days or less per month, typically around 2 days a week or less depending on time-off schedules.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT(R) certification, BLS certification, North Dakota Medical Imaging Board registration (NDMIRT), and a minimum of 3 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.
- Specific licenses and certifications include BLS, ARRT(R), and NDMIRT along with a background check.
- Equipment utilized in the department includes Electronic Emergency Medical Records (EPIC), Sectra PACS, Toshiba Interventional Radiology Machine, and Siemens Ultrasound Unit.
- Shift or schedule requirements: Employees will work independently for smaller cases and in pairs for large angiography cases. On-call duty is part of the schedule.
- Floating to other departments such as CT scans for procedural support may be required.
- Department features two fluoroscopy rooms, CT utilization, and ultrasound rooms.
- Dress code: hospital-provided scrubs.
- Unit/department-specific training includes general equipment and protocol review by the department.
