Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient in Maine. This position involves providing outpatient therapy services at an outpatient therapy clinic. The role requires a professional with outpatient experience, capable of evaluating and treating various patient conditions, including orthopedic and neuro cases, in a collaborative environment. The assignment starts as soon as possible.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Dayshift, Monday through Friday, 0800-1630. The schedule may be somewhat flexible with shift start and end times.
  • Required Qualifications: Occupational Therapist (OT) State Licensure, BLS Certification, Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field, minimum of 1 year outpatient experience, outpatient experience in orthopedic or neuro rehabilitation preferred, and proven competency to evaluate and treat patients.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior outpatient rehab experience using ultrasound, electrical stimulation, exercise equipment, and strength training.
  • Float: None.
  • Additional Information:
    • Start date: 09/07/2026
    • The facility has a supportive team including a Director of Rehab and Supervisor available via phone.
    • The department is staffed with three physical therapists, three occupational therapists, and one certified occupational therapy assistant.
    • Technology used includes Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system Cerner Millennium.
    • Orientation will be dependent on the candidates skillset and comfort level, with a minimum of two days prior to patient care and ongoing preceptor support.
    • Dress code is business casual with no jeans (except Fridays), and professional scrubs without graphics or logos.
    • On-site parking available.
