Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; Licenses/Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); Radiologic Tech (RT) license in California; Advanced Certification in the modality of CT (required in Oregon and Hawaii; preferred in California); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per healthcare organization policy; Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (required in California); Venipuncture certification (preferred in California and Oregon)
- Essential Functions: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric; produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation; uses PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images; maintains accurate records, files, and billing information; ensures patient medical images and data confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA; performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment; manages supply inventory; performs additional job-related duties as assigned.
- The candidate must be licensed by the California Department of Public Health and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in CT.
