Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position in Kaunakakai, Hawaii. This role involves delivering outpatient physical therapy services, requiring a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in an acute care setting with both inpatients and outpatients. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts with 10 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program; Master's degree required; Doctorate (DPT) preferred. Current Hawaii State license as a Physical Therapist. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) at Healthcare Provider (HCP) level. Must have two (2) or more years of professional Physical Therapy experience in an acute care setting with both inpatients and outpatients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Wound care experience is strongly preferred; however, candidates willing to train will be considered.
• Additional Information: Compliance must be completed and uploaded to Medefis portal 10 or more days in advance of starting contract. All compliance will be due 10 days before start; failure to submit on time may result in assignment cancellation or delay. Applicants must submit a current NURSYS report. If an RN is not needed on the designated unit, the candidate may be assigned to roles such as nursing assistant or safety sitter, with the expectation to fill that role.
