Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position located in Norway, Maine. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing outpatient therapy services. The position emphasizes patient safety, professional development, and adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; valid state licensure in good standing; willingness to complete all state mandated continuing education requirements
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with diverse outpatient populations preferred; previous experience in a team-oriented environment advantageous
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Responsible for completing comprehensive patient evaluations, developing and modifying treatment plans to promote patient progress toward discharge within the established length of stay. Documentation must be clear, concise, and timely, including goal writing and compliance with all applicable guidelines. Participation in student programs and ongoing professional development are essential. Adheres to all organizational and state regulations, maintains licensure, and actively participates in quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the organizations mission statement and core values, emphasizing safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
