Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at enhancing independence in daily living skills.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders and referrals.
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans for patients.
- Accurately document services provided in a timely manner.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with practice acts and facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and engage with patients' families.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD).
- Active state Occupational Therapist license or the ability to obtain one.
- Demonstrated strong clinical skills, as well as proficiency in documentation and communication.
