Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is based in Nashua, New Hampshire. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) procedures independently at a fast-paced facility under the supervision of radiologists and the CT supervisor. The technologist will be responsible for a variety of technical tasks including interventional cases, CT angiography, and advanced 3D reconstruction, all while applying the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle to patient radiation safety.

Schedule: Rotating shift hours; 12 hours shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, ARRT CT Registry eligibility preferred; NH Imaging License required; BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required; CT Scan experience required; a combination of education and experience equivalent in proficiency may be accepted.

Knowledge of CT scan software (GE and Siemens preferred), PACS software (McKesson Change Healthcare preferred), and Electronic Medical Record systems (Epic preferred).

Ability to prepare patients, position them properly, and acquire scans according to protocol.

Must identify anatomy, pathology, and contrast enhancement on images and document patient data accurately.

Proven ability to troubleshoot CT equipment issues and practice radiation safety following ALARA principles.

Must possess the physical and mental capacity for tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Flexibility to assist with 24/7 department coverage, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.

Punctuality and professionalism are required for all scheduled shifts, including onboarding and mandatory training.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE and Siemens CT systems; knowledge of PACS software.

Additional Information: Responsible for maintaining equipment, supplies, and ensuring a professional workspace. Must adhere to dress code, HIPAA compliance, and maintain certifications and competencies as required. The position involves a collaborative approach to patient care and departmental operations.
