Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with neuro experience and at least 1 year of ARRT-certified IR experience for a hospital-based role.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts with varied start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday
- Weekend coverage supported by a rotating call schedule among 6 to 8 staff members
- On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call technologists
- 13 to 26 week assignment options available
- May be required to float to other qualified units or campuses based on facility census needs
- Uses PACS imaging equipment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience required
- Neuro experience required
- ARRT-R certification required, ARRT-VI certification preferred
- BLS certification required
- SC Radiography State License required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
- Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Additional experience in NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER settings preferred
Additional Information
- Perform interventional radiology procedures utilizing PACS equipment
- Orientation is held every Monday, with annual compliance modules required for all travelers
- Facility's goal is to keep staff in their home unit, though floating to other qualified units or campuses may be required due to census needs
