Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in computed tomography (CT) in The Dalles, Oregon. This position involves operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis, along with performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures. The role offers a night shift schedule and is integral in supporting patient care and imaging services within a community-focused healthcare facility.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); Advanced Certification in CT (preferred in Colorado and Hawaii; required in Oregon and Hawaii); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Fluoroscopy license in current state of employment; ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification
  • Essential Functions:
    • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care across a wide age range from adolescence to geriatrics
    • Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images suitable for radiologist interpretation
    • Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images accurately
    • Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
    • Performs routine equipment maintenance and manages supply inventory
    • Performs other related duties as assigned
