Radiologic Technologist specializing in computed tomography (CT) in The Dalles, Oregon. The role offers a night shift schedule and is integral in supporting patient care and imaging services within a community-focused healthcare facility.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); Advanced Certification in CT (preferred in Colorado and Hawaii; required in Oregon and Hawaii); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Fluoroscopy license in current state of employment; ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification
- Essential Functions:
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care across a wide age range from adolescence to geriatrics
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images suitable for radiologist interpretation
- Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images accurately
- Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
- Performs routine equipment maintenance and manages supply inventory
- Performs other related duties as assigned
