Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 5 years of cath lab experience and RT, RCIS, or CVT credentialing.
Details
- Level 3 trauma facility, Cardiac Cath Lab unit, 1st floor
- 263-bed facility with a 3-person team per case
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Common diagnoses include cardiac and peripheral vascular disease
- Equipment includes 4 Philips Cath Lab systems and 4 Merge Hemo systems
- Meditech EHR
- Day shift, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (alternate shift option 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
- On-call required Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 6:00 AM
- Call requirements include every 4th day and every 4th weekend
- Weekend coverage is every other weekend
- No floating required
Requirements
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab preferred, though candidates with less experience from a high-volume cath lab may be considered
- RT, RCIS, or CVT required education/credential (license required if applicable)
- Must be skilled in monitoring and scrubbing on cath lab procedures
- Social security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Active licensure required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Duties include monitoring and scrubbing in on cardiac cath lab procedures
- Team environment with a patient-focused, positive, collaborative culture desired
- Black scrub color required
- Torn clothing or inappropriate slogans/language not permitted
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
