Job Summary:
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in inpatient care is needed in Whitehall, Wisconsin. The position involves working in a primarily outpatient pediatric caseload with some inpatient mixed populations, providing high-quality therapy services in a dynamic healthcare environment. The role offers a consistent schedule with 8-hour daytime shifts and requires a dedicated professional to join the organization promptly.

Job Details:

  • Position: Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient (SLP IP)
  • Location: Whitehall, WI
  • Shift Schedule: 8 hours per day, with a bi-weekly schedule of 72 hours (4 shifts one week and 5 shifts the next)
  • Start Date: 08/24/2026
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours bi-weekly
  • Certifications and Education: WI State SLP License and AHA BLS required; Associate Degree or Certificate required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience preferred, including critical access and pediatrics experience; 0 years required for licensure and certification.
  • Charting System: EPIC preferred
  • Caseload: Approximately 90% outpatient pediatrics with roughly 10% inpatient mixed populations, averaging 7 appointments per day.
  • Schedule: 8-hour days (8:00 AM 4:30 PM), minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: No holiday rotation required. There is a seasoned SLP available as a resource on-site. Candidate must initiate compliance requirements for the medical portion within 48 hours of offer acceptance or 24 hours for a quick start.
