Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray imaging is sought for a position in Morristown, New Jersey. The role involves performing various imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and proper equipment maintenance. The position requires a commitment to accuracy, safety, and quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 07:30 AM to 03:30 PM, including every other weekend shift and one on-call shift every three weeks.
- Required Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience as an X-ray Technician, current knowledge of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care. Graduate of an accredited radiography school. Valid New Jersey State Registered Technologist (RT) license. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of current healthcare informatics and hardware/software developments.
- Additional Information: The role involves maintaining all imaging equipment, assessing safety, and coordinating daily imaging procedures. Candidate must be able to monitor need for procedure revisions and adapt accordingly. Flexibility to work scheduled hours and participate in on-call shifts every three weeks is required.
