Job Summary (List Format) for School-based Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (Desoto, TX):

- Provide speech and language therapy to students using primarily a pull-out therapy model
- Conduct assessments and plan individualized interventions
- Attend ARD meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Work full-time (38.5 hours/week) for the 2026-27 school year (8/13/26–5/26/27)
- Likely serve multiple schools in the Desoto, TX (DFW area); early applicants get caseload preference
- Utilize EMR or IEP online documentation systems
- Treat children with speech therapy needs in a school-based/therapeutic pediatric setting
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to student evaluation and progress reports
- Required: SLP-CCC’s and Texas SLP license; bilingual in Spanish
- Preferred: School-based experience
- Open to new graduates interested in pediatric/school-based therapy
- Approximate weekly earnings: $2,250 (based on experience)
- Eligible for tax-free per diem stipends (if qualified)
