Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is located in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves performing CT imaging procedures with professionalism and a focus on patient care. The technologist will ensure quality imaging, maintain sterile processes, and adhere to safety protocols, including HIPAA regulations. The position requires demonstrating expertise in patient communication, equipment operation, and emergency response within a busy clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, Sundays through Wednesdays, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; completion of a radiographer technical training program from a school of radiography or college-based radiography program; certifications including ARRT Radiography (RT), ARRT CT (RT), and NJDEP New Jersey State X-Ray License; BLS certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: The technologist will be responsible for obtaining medical supplies, maintaining sterilization and cleanliness, verifying patient identification, observing patient condition post-contrast injections, and participating in routine inventory and cleaning procedures. Responsibilities also include triaging procedures, coordinating emergency and unscheduled requests, and notifying radiologists and staff of any equipment malfunctions or unusual findings. The role involves maintaining QA/QC standards as per accreditation specifications and adhering to venipuncture and power injector protocols.
