Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist is a specialized healthcare professional based in Rowlett, TX. This position involves assisting with invasive cardiac procedures, preparing equipment, and monitoring patients in a sterile environment. The role requires precise technical skills to support physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, beginning on 08/24/2026. Shift timings are typically days, with potential adjustments to 5x8s if required by the department.
- Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), RCIS or ARRT (R), Texas MRT license; 4 years minimum clinical experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Vascular, and Electrophysiology cases; candidate must have the ability to perform invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, and knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with arteriograms, catheterizations, pacemaker implantations, and thrombolytic therapy. Ability to accurately perform data calculations and maintain sterile fields.
- Additional Information: The technician assists physicians during a variety of cardiac procedures, including preparing and maintaining sterile environments, monitoring patient vitals, transmitting relevant medical information, and ensuring the safety and readiness of procedure rooms and equipment. The role involves self-lead problem solving, multi-tasking, and demonstrating flexibility to meet departmental needs.
