Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist in a healthcare facilitys vascular procedure department. This position involves scrub, circulate, and monitor duties, supporting both facilities with most emergencies at the primary site. Candidates will be required to work with vascular, cardiac catheterization, and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring clinical excellence and patient safety.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 12 years of experience in interventional vascular/IR lab or cardiac catheterization in a hospital or medical center setting, including scrub, circulate, and monitor experience. Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting is required. Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures is necessary. Level I trauma experience is preferred. Iowa Radiology license highly preferredconsidering licensing candidates, with issuance timeline varying if non-active. ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) registration required; ARRT (CI or VI) highly preferred. RCIS/CCI certification is a plus. Certifications include ARRT and BLS (AHA).
- Preferred Qualifications: Peripheral vascular experience, Iowa radiology license, level I trauma experience, and current clinical references within the past 24 months.
- Additional Information: Work history must include 12 months of current interventional vascular, interventional radiology lab, or cardiac catheterization experience. Skills checklist must be discipline-specific. Candidate must submit professional references and a drivers license. Call schedule includes every 3rd evening and 3rd weekend, from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday.
