Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services in an inpatient acute care and swing bed hospital setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 8–12 patients per day with conditions including general weakness/debility, CVA/TIA, CHF, pneumonia, and post-operative TKA/THA
- Utilize therapeutic equipment including gait belts, canes, hip kits, NuSteps, arm bikes, weights, resistance bands, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound
- Deliver care across varying lengths of stay, including acute admissions (3 days to 1 week) and swing bed patients (5 days to 2 weeks)
- Document patient care using shared department computers and available facility laptops
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in good standing
- Experience in inpatient acute care occupational therapy
- Proficiency with standard OT therapeutic modalities and adaptive equipment
- Ability to manage a varied inpatient caseload independently
- Prior experience with swing bed or post-acute inpatient populations
- Familiarity with neurological and orthopedic post-operative patient populations
- Stable 13-week contract with a guaranteed 40-hour work week in a structured inpatient environment
