Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) in Montclair, New Jersey. This position involves working in a diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab setting, performing advanced procedures such as catheterizations, stent placements, and electrophysiology interventions. Candidates must possess the necessary certifications and clinical skills to support adult and geriatric patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a schedule of four days per week.
- Schedule: 4x10 hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications including ACLS, ARRT Certified in Cardiac Imaging (CI), ARRT Registered in Radiography (R), and BLS. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, with clinical proficiency in cardiac implant procedures, fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile technique. License must be current and in good standing; local candidates are not accepted, and a state or compact license must be in hand at the time of submittal.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electrophysiology labs, vascular closure systems, and various interventional procedures is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The assignment requires the candidate to be compliant with a 50-mile travel radius rule, with no local candidates accepted. All necessary onboarding, including core items and labs, must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing. Modules are completed onsite during orientation and are non-billable, with scheduled hours incorporated into the shift.
