Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a night shift assignment.
Details
- Adult and geriatric patient population in a CT scan unit with 8 rooms
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
- Performs special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, drainage, and vascular CTA
- Performs head and neck imaging including carotid, sinus, soft tissue neck, and trauma head studies
- Performs spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma
- Performs chest imaging including calcium scoring, coronary angiography, and vascular chest studies
- Performs abdomen and pelvis imaging including colorectal, enterography, and pelvis studies
- Uses GE, Siemens, and PACS equipment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
- ARRT(CT) certification required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with GE, PACS, and Siemens equipment required
- Active Michigan (MI) license required if applicable; compact licenses not accepted
- Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
- Proficient in image display and post-processing including multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest (ROI) measurement

- Former permanent employees may return as travelers after one year
- All requested RTO must be submitted upfront, with no RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment
- All required certifications must be obtained prior to the start date
- Onsite orientation includes completion of required modules
