Location: Chewelah, Washington
Schedule: Day shift, 3x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:00), approximately 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE). Flexible scheduling options include Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Friday. No on-call or weekend requirements. Patient ratio 1:5-10. Daily census approximately 5 patients.
Highlights:
- Work in a 23-bed critical access hospital serving a rural community
- Provide inpatient physical therapy for adults and geriatric populations with various diagnoses including post-operative care, deconditioning, and mobility impairments
- Collaborative interdisciplinary team including PT, OT, SLP, and comprehensive support services
- Flexible scheduling with Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Friday options; no weekend or holiday coverage typically required
- May have opportunity to float to other facilities in the region based on census needs and therapist capabilities
- Epic charting system with 20 hours of orientation provided
Requirements:
- Valid Washington state Physical Therapy license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- BLS certification required
- Acute care experience preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Experience with gait training, assistive devices, orthopedics, post-operative rehabilitation, and geriatric populations
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
