Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist located in Edinburg, Texas. This position involves supporting invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing as well as interventional procedures within a multidisciplinary laboratory setting. The technologist must be capable of supporting structural heart, diagnostic, and therapeutic coronary and peripheral cases, with the ability to scrub and monitor procedures utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must reside within 50 miles of the facility. Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RAD) or Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS). Two or more years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience. Degree in related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with structural heart procedures, peripheral and diagnostic studies, and supporting multidisciplinary vascular and cardiac testing.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be able to support peripheral case procedures, including scrubbing and monitoring. Ability to adapt to multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality is essential. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with interpersonal skills, are necessary for this role.
