Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Specialist Assistant position in Watertown, New York. This role involves providing patient care services under the supervision of a physician within the scope of interventional radiology procedures. The position emphasizes delivering high-quality, compassionate, and age-appropriate care across the lifespan, ensuring patient safety and efficient clinical workflow.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in radiologic procedures, relevant educational background, at least 1 year of clinical experience in interventional radiology or related field, located in or willing to work in Watertown, NY, with a minimum of 0 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience assisting with fluoroscopic procedures, joint injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drain placement, bone marrow biopsies, and biopsies guided by ultrasound or CT
- Additional Information: The Radiology Specialist Assistant provides patient assessments using age-specific growth and development principles, assists with radiologic procedures such as fluoroscopic studies and guided biopsies, maintains workflow, responds to emergencies, and ensures compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. The role involves maintaining patient confidentiality and supporting the clinical team through clinical expertise and patient care.
