Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient/Inpatient rehab unit, requiring 1+ years of experience and a South Carolina PT license.
Details
- Hospital-based inpatient and outpatient rehab unit
- Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Possible holiday coverage required
- May float within scope to like units or sister facilities as needed
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required; outpatient experience preferred, inpatient experience also accepted
- Current BLS certification required (AHA certifications only)
- SC or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist License required at start of contract; license required if applicable
- Prior travel experience required
- Outpatient and inpatient experience preferred
- SSN and driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Pewter scrub color required
- Free on-site parking provided
- During hurricane season (June-November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
- First-time travelers not accepted for this position
- Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted; non-local candidates are prioritized
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
