Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience and MIRT license with RT or RCIS certification.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting
- Monday-Friday day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 40 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Requires 10-11 call shifts per month including rotating weekends
- Provides shared on-call coverage for a 24/7 cath lab
- Operates diagnostic imaging equipment during procedures
- Performs scrub tech duties to assist cardiologists and vascular surgeons
- Performs hemodynamic monitoring and documents procedures during cases
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience required
- MIRT license required if applicable
- RT or RCIS certification required
- Current ACLS and CPR-AHA certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- MA license required if applicable
Additional Information
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Local candidates are not typically accepted, though hard-to-fill positions may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility
- Pass/Fail testing required for Tele/ECG and Medication competency
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
- First-time travelers may be considered for this role
