Job Summary
CT Technologist in the specialty of Radiology, available in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) scans for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, with responsibilities including patient positioning, image acquisition, and maintaining safety protocols.
Job Details
- Certification in ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) CT and ARRT R, with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Education requirements: relevant radiologic technology degree or equivalent certification.
- Valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Current clinical skills include 3D rendering, adult and pediatric contrast imaging, emergency department procedures, radiation safety, and venipuncture.
- Must be flexible to float between units if required and work scheduled weekends.
- Ability to work with Epic charting system and various imaging procedures is preferred.
- Candidates should be able to commit to working three of the five major holidays and request all RTO or specific scheduling needs upfront during submission.
- References: Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, during the compliance process and prior to start.
- Must have worked at a healthcare facility or similar environment for at least 1 year.
- Candidates cannot have Nursys or background (BG) hits, as per policy.
- Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities, and refusal may result in termination.
- Ability to complete required modules and annual training via the provided systems.
