Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging, located in The Dalles, Oregon. This position involves operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis, along with performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures within a busy healthcare facility. The role requires adherence to safety standards and patient confidentiality guidelines while providing comprehensive imaging services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); Advanced Certification in CT modality (required in Oregon and Hawaii, preferred in California); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred in California and Oregon); Venipuncture certification (preferred in California and Oregon); Facility specific license/certification ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT).
- Essential Functions: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce images, including sagittal and coronal reformatted images; performs general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures; maintains accurate records and images in compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines; performs routine maintenance of imaging equipment; manages supply inventory; uses PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer; evaluates patients care needs across age groups; performs other related duties as assigned.
