Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic CT scans independently at a technical level, including all post-processing procedures on Vitrea workstations
- Operate and maintain CT scanners, power injectors, and QC workstations proficiently
- Transport patients as needed while consistently observing universal precautions and using appropriate personal protective equipment
- Evaluate and select proper exposure factors and assess images using cross-sectional anatomy and 3-D knowledge
- Utilize PACS, HIS/RIS, and EMR systems including EPIC, Visage, Vitrea, and Medicalis
- Follow established downtime processes and maintain the integrity of the imaging archive
- Active ARRT registration in both Radiography and CT required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience in a hospital setting
- Experience with stroke and trauma patient populations
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required seasonally (November 1 – April 1)
- Evening shift candidates must be available for full-week day shift orientation
- Experience working with ER, inpatient, and high-acuity patient populations
- Proficiency with GE CT equipment
- Positive, confident, compassionate, and team-oriented personality
- Work at a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center and Level 2 Stroke Center with a strong reputation for safety and innovation
