Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) Sarasota, FL. This opportunity involves working in a busy Cardiac Cath Lab within a healthcare organization that performs advanced procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave, PPM, Impella, and IABP. The role provides a chance to work with cutting-edge equipment and a dedicated team of professionals, with scheduling based on a day shift.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certification as a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist, with at least 1 year of experience, including Cath lab experience, Impella, IABP, and vents.
- Preferred Qualifications: Vascular/peripheral intervention experience.
- Unit Information: Cardiac Cath lab with 2 beds, a team of 10 staff members, including RN(s), Tech(s), and support personnel.
- Patient Ratios: 1:1, on call with a 3-person team.
- Typical Procedures Performed: Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), shockwave, PPM, Impella, and IABP.
- Equipment: GE Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, Meditech.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be independent with a great attitude and a strong work ethic. The facility emphasizes new technology, experienced staff, and competitive scheduling. Travelers will work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff.
