Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray imaging is sought for a position in Hilo, Hawaii. The role involves performing radiographic procedures with proficiency in operating various radiographic equipment, including digital radiography and fluoroscopy. The assignment requires the technologist to work primarily during daytime hours, with an average of three call shifts per month.
Job Details:
- Location: Hilo, Hawaii
- Schedule: Dayshift shift hours are 8 hours per day, with an average of 3 call days per month. No guarantee of hours or time requested off.
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a radiologic technologist
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the operation of all radiographic equipment including digital radiography (DR) fixed and portable units, C-arms, and fluoroscopy systems
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer
- Certification: A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system, Philips digital radiography, Philips C-arms, and OEC C-arms is preferred
- Must have a dosimeter badge and be assigned one during employment
- Minimum of 0 years of experience listed (additional experience preferred)
- Candidate must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment and must hold Hawaii licensure by the start of assignment
- Additional Information:
- Candidate must have Hawaii license in hand by the start date.
- No RTO (Request for Time Off) will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.
- Candidate must arrive on island the Friday prior to the Monday start date for clearance appointments.
- The role requires working independently with a strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
