General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
- Number of Beds - Cath lab 3 Holding Bays and 2 Cath / suites
- Number of Staff – 9
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift - day shift 6:45 to 4:15 CVL
- 0700-1700 pre-post - variable
- Patient Ratios - 3 staff to 1 patient. Cath Lab procedural area
- Type of equipment – Client Innova Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab
- EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Minimum 6 months' current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
- BLS
- ARRT (R)
- RCIS or RCES
- If they have the RCIS or RCES, they must be willing and able to apply for and register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA before they start working
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred
- Holding experience
- Monitoring experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention
- Pacers, ICD's, Cardioversions, TEE's Tilt Table Tests, Dobutamine stress test.

Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
- Must take on-call responsibilities with rest of team. Must be housed within 30 min of the Cath Lab.
- We divide call evenly through the 4-week schedule- usually 8-12 days. We try to do only one weekend during that 4 week block but that is not always possible.
