Required Qualifications

Education

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

  • ARRT Certification:
    • R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR
    • R.T. (R)(ARRT)
  • Current Radiologic Technologist license in applicable state
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from approved provider

State-Specific Requirements

California (CA):

  • RT license required
  • Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment
  • Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast
  • Advanced CT certification preferred

Oregon (OR) & Hawaii (HI):

  • Advanced CT certification required

Facility Requirement

  • Venipuncture (IV) certification required

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures for adolescent through geriatric patients
  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist review
  • Transfer images accurately using PACS and teleradiology systems
  • Maintain documentation, records, and billing information
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration
  • Manage imaging supplies and inventory
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
