Unit Specific Requirements:
-IABP/Impella.
-Hemodynamic monitoring.
-Arterial/venous sheath removals and/or closure devices.
-Assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
-Assisting physicians during the implantation of a permanent pacemaker/ICDs.
-Aseptic technique.
-Competency with interventional procedures such as but not limited to; thrombectomy, stenting, angioplasty, IVUS, OCT, FFR, and structural heart.
-Management of complications such as but not limited to; air emboli, stroke, anaphylaxis reactions, and cardiac tamponade.
-BLS.
-ACLS.
-Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT).
- Radiography License.
-ARRT Radiography (R) Certification.
