Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technician in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves performing specialized radiographic procedures following department policies and protocols. The technician will ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging, assist with invasive and interventional procedures, and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved or accredited Radiologic Technology program; national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable; BLS certification; clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience.
- Additional Information: The technician will perform prescribed radiographic procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications, evaluate equipment quality control measurements, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure radiation safety policies are followed. The role may involve directing activities of students and support staff and requires effective communication skills.
