Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position in Caldwell, Texas. This role involves providing inpatient therapy services at a facility with a focus on general rehabilitation cases, including fractures, orthopedic injuries, neuro conditions, and post-amputation care. The position offers a supportive team environment with opportunities to work across different patient care settings, including both inpatient and outpatient.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with shift times of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Texas and national licensed Physical Therapist (PT), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Wound care experience is preferred but not required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates should have at least six months of patient treatment experience.
  • Very supportive nursing and therapy staff.
  • Will see general PT cases, including fractures, orthopedic injuries (sports-related), neuro cases (10-15%), and amputations.
  • Neck pain cases are included; acutely ill patients are not treated at this campus.
  • No weekends, no call, and no holidays required.
  • Scrubs are maroon; uniform not provided.
  • Brief department-specific orientation will be provided.
  • The facility can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
  • Charting system used is MEDITECH.
  • Candidates must have a license to submit and be eligible to work in the U.S.
