Perform computed tomography scanning procedures at a technical level requiring constant attention to technical detail, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiologic diagnosis. Operates control console for patient's scan.

Selects proper imaging techniques.

Operates various peripheral hardware and equipment.

Maintain, set-up and adjust equipment, checking calibration and recalibrating as necessary.

Positions patient on examination table and adjusts immobilization devices as required to obtain optimum views of specified area of the body requested by physician as determined by department policy and procedure observing all health and safety precautions, quality assurance and infection control standards.

Receive and review requests for radiologic studies.

Ability to read, write and communicate in English. High school graduate or GED. Graduate an American Medical Association (AMA) Accredited Radiography Program. Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control. Must have certification from an accredited CT program or currently registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, 3 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist OR 1 year current (within the last 5 years) CT Tech experience. Current BLS
