Facilities Technician 1 - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician 1 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 1, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting workplace relocation, maintenance, and facility management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician 1

Location: McPherson, KS

Pay Range: $18-21/hour

Shift: 07:00-15:30, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Relocate and reconfigure office equipment, furniture, and materials for associates moving between site locations
• Assemble and disassemble modular office furniture, cubicles, and various office layouts
• Perform basic work such as installing shelves, hanging whiteboards, and minor repairs
• Assist with general office maintenance including light mechanical repairs
• Create and manage keys for office spaces and document work orders into the CMMS system

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to read and understand furniture assembly instructions
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
• Experience with drywall preparation, minor repairs, and painting
