Molding Process Tech

Join a company that values your expertise and offers opportunities to grow. As a Molding Process Technician, you'll develop and optimize injection molding processes, troubleshoot production issues, and help ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

•Develop and optimize injection/scientific molding processes to meet quality, appearance, and cycle time requirements.

•Start, monitor, and troubleshoot injection molding presses to maintain standard processes.

•Create and maintain operator instructions, setup sheets, and process documentation.

•Process a variety of engineering-grade materials.

•Perform mold changes, material setup, press/robot programming, and quality inspections.

•Identify molding defects and perform basic tooling maintenance.

•Document process improvements and equipment issues.

•Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, production, and delivery.

•Bag, label, inspect, and prepare finished parts for storage.

•Perform other duties as assigned.

•Qualifications

•High school diploma required; 2-year technical degree preferred.

•5–7 years of plastic injection molding experience.

•Minimum 2 years of scientific molding experience (IQ/OQ/PQ).

•Experience in medical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.

•Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and computer skills.

•Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

•Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills.

•Ability to travel domestically up to 5% as needed.

Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hour, based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

1st shift: Tuesday – Friday 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 2:00pm - 12:00am
