## Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

### Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in the preparation, packaging, dispensing, and distribution of medications. Working under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will support medication management, maintain pharmacy inventory, prepare IV medications, and ensure the accurate delivery of medications while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and safety standards.

### Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED preferred
* Associate's or Technical Degree, or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred
* Active State Pharmacy Technician license required
* Pharmacy Technician Board Certification preferred
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced healthcare environment
* Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication handling, and inventory management

### Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare, package, and distribute medications under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
* Fill and deliver unit dose medication cassettes accurately according to patient medication profiles.
* Pull medications from inventory and match them with pharmacist-generated medication labels.
* Maintain nursing unit floor stock by restocking medications, rotating inventory, and removing expired medications.
* Receive, price, stock, and organize incoming pharmaceutical deliveries.
* Prepare IV medication products in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies.
* Process wholesaler orders, returns, and back orders accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and pharmacy documentation.
* Support daily pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
