Registered Nurse – Cardiac in Portland, Oregon. Start date: 08/31/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Weekly pay: $2,171 to $2,373 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights (6:45 PM–7:15 AM).

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for cardiac patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Monitor cardiac telemetry, interpret data, and respond to changes in patient condition; administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, develop and implement an evidence-based care plan, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, coordinate care with physicians, case management, and rehabilitation services; ensure a safe and healing environment.
- Provide patient and family education, participate in discharge planning, and support continuity of care after transition from the unit.
- Directly supervise and delegate duties to nursing staff as appropriate to maintain quality and safety of care.
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure in the state of practice (Oregon). Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certified; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required; EPIC experience required.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent nursing experience in acute or cardiac care.
- Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting; strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills; cardiac telemetry and rhythm interpretation capabilities.
- Other: Ability to work the listed night shift and participate in a 13-week travel assignment.
