Key Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans and select appropriate modalities to meet established patient goals in compliance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and applicable licensing and accreditation standards
- Provide prescribed physical therapy treatments to facilitate rehabilitation of patients across age-specific, cultural, and rehabilitative needs
- Assist in evaluating patient progress and contribute to safe and comprehensive discharge planning
- Maintain thorough, timely, legible, and consistent patient care documentation
- Facilitate interdisciplinary communication and coordination to maximize patient outcomes
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and treatment areas, and provide education and mentoring for student interns as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy
- Active California Physical Therapist License issued by the PT Board of the State of California
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Ability to administer all department modalities, programs, and protocols appropriate to the age of patients served
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with patients, healthcare professionals, and staff
- Master's degree or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Prior physical therapy or healthcare experience
