Physical Therapist - Inpatient Care Schedule
This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide inpatient care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of diagnoses and treatment plans in a rehabilitation hospital setting. You will play a pivotal role in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients through comprehensive evaluations and therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and assess patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions to enhance patient mobility and function.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment and exercise programs.
- Document all patient care and progress in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an inpatient setting.
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with patient populations including post-operative, spinal cord injury, and cognitive disorders.
